Why supporting rollers are made from GESADUR®

Gesadur® is a homogenous material with a good surface quality. By changing to Gesadur® the rotational speed of the machine can be often increased, while the running noise is decreased at the same time. Due to the memory properties of the material the rollers are not subject to developing flats and vibrations are dampened.

Competitors products, manufactured with molded laminates which break down and show wear much faster.  The under rollers are also subject to deforming during longer periods of shutdown, causing vibrations and increased running noise.
